Formatting your partition

Problem:

Bought a new PC! wow congratulations, bought an OS and formatted your new PC, created the partition on the BIOS, but when you finished formatting, only your Local Disk (C) is present on My Computer.

Solution:

Look on the brightside. Don't panic! your partition isnt formatted yet! Lets format that partition!

Click Start>Run

Type in: "compmgmt.msc" without the "" for christ sake.

go to the Disk Management and you should see this:

Now, you should see there "Unpartitioned Space" blahblah Disk. now, right click it and click "Format Partition" and use NTFS as file format. Now just wait and let the format finish. After that, you can see your Local Disk (D) (or whatever letter you have assigned it) on My Computer!
